The Straumann Group develops, manufactures and supplies dental implants, instruments, CADCAM prosthetics and biomaterials for use in tooth replacement and restoration solutions or to prevent tooth loss.
De functie / The role
The Sales Manager reports directly to the Head of Sales Surgical and Digital Netherlands. This role is responsible for managing/mentoring a team of 5 Sales professionals on how to drive new business and maintain existing relationships within an assigned territory.
Leads all sales and account/planning, forecasting, reporting, management efforts for key assigned accounts within territory
Works closely with other Sales Managers, Account Manager and Product Managers and our Head of Sales Surgical to maximize revenue in a given geography
Frequently accompanies Account Managers on sales visits and supports large new account acquisition, maintaining a high-level customer relationship
Strategizes with sales resources to develop territory / accounts plans to maximize revenue and growth
Supervises account planning and sales forecasting for sales resources
Coordinates district selling activities (e.g., new product launch, account assignment, ongoing customer needs)
Coaching and leading a team:
Responsible for recruiting of new team members and onboard them to the Straumann organisation;
Drive the Sales organisation, by mentoring and coaching the team members to become a High Performance Sales team;
Trusted advisor for our team members and make sure that they become the best version of themselfs by coaching & training them
Het profiel / Your profile
5+ years of proven successful sales and sales management experience
5+ years of Dental sales experience
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, MBA would be highly desirable
Strong knowledge of both residential commercial building markets and buyers
Willing to travel up to 75% of the time during the work week
Familiarity with business planning and financial reports
