JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Senior Digital Sales Representative for Poultry EMEA & APAC is responsible for developing and executing Digital Solutions’ commercial vision and achieve short- and medium-term goals for the customer account(s) that will drive significant business/financial impact and will maximize opportunities for the customer and within defined area of scope (i.e. Portfolio of Products/Services, Customer Segments, Industry Segment, Major Sales Practice Area/Category, etc.).
This role will focus on commercializing the Digital Solutions’ portfolio across the EMEA and APAC regions in close collaboration with local nutrition sales teams. Digital formulation and farm management tools may be bundled with Cargill’s feed offering but could potentially also be sold as a stand-alone offering. As such, we seek a seasoned professional that is able to work independently, knows the poultry industry well, has excellent client relationship skills and is able to deliver.
Location: The Netherlands is a primary location. The role is open for candidates based in remote locations in the Region Europe.
Develop and execute the sales planning process for complex accounts for multiple value propositions and solutions as part of the account plan while meeting personal sales targets
Develop and structure complex sales proposals that represent maximum value optimization to customer and business.
Coordinate use of resources (e. g., technical, advertising) to provide value-added services to accounts.
Develop strong client relationships that provide significant input to planning product, price and service strategies.
Work with local commercial teams to motivate, align on goals and build actions plans to achieve results; coach junior specialists on all aspects of sales/account management and customer service.
Analyze competitor capabilities along with comparisons to business’s capabilities to determine gaps and to position account offerings against competitive options.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Het profiel / Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in any relevant business discipline.
Minimum of four years of related work experience in poultry nutrition industry.
Fluent in English
Bachelor’s degree in animal nutrition or science. Master`s degree will be a plus.
5+ years of business experience in value added sales solution in poultry nutrition industry.
Proven performance that demonstrates high accountability, strong initiative, with a sense-of-urgency and an entrepreneurial approach.
Solid interpersonal skills; being an effective listener, verbal, and written communication.
Experience with go-to-market, including sales
Strong entrepreneurial spirit; skilled in market assessment, strategy development and annual business planning.
Fluent in other relevant European or Asian languages (e.g. French, Polish, Dutch, Vietnamese, Thai, etc.)
Ability to travel up to 50% within EMEA and APAC (post Covid-19).
