The Fixed Costs Controlling team has great opportunities for you to thrive in a diverse and international environment. During your internship, you will work closely with Antonello Carta, Fixed Costs Controlling Manager.
De functie / The role
As the new member of our Fixed Costs Controlling team you will join your colleagues in being responsible for the completeness, accuracy and timely delivery of the financial reporting of all fixed costs within Danone Trading ELN BV and Danone Trading Medical BV. You will support this and various other projects, as well as the day-to-day activities. These tasks range from analyzing and documenting the PO process to supporting the monthly management reporting process.
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Support implementation of new Purchase Order tool
2. Harmonize and improve intercompany cross-charges process
Analyze and document current process
Define and implement improvements
3. Support the fixed costs controlling department by participating in day-to-day activities
Specific tasks in month-end closing (postings, cross-charges, etc.)
Support monthly Rolling Forecast process
Support monthly management reporting process
Het profiel / Your profile
We are searching for a Bachelors/Masters student in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. You have an open personality and strong communication skills, and are not afraid to reach out to stakeholders to establish connections. You are willing to share ideas and support in a team but also is willing and able to work autonomously when necessary. You have strong Excel skills and your analytical mindset allows you to organize and make sense of complex information in order to plan for action.
There are also some compulsory requirements:
You are enrolled as a student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
You are available to start in February 2021 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
You are able to work from Hoofddorp, Netherlands, if the COVID-19 situation allows us to go to the office.
You must acquire a BSN number to be able to complete this internship

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance of 450 (HBO students) or 550 (University students) euros per month and a contribution towards travel if required. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
