Our client is a pharmaceutical packaging organization, that is dedicated to shaping the future of the pharmaceutical Supply Chain to be safer and more reliable for their customers and patients. They have over 30 years of experience that they use to offer flexible packaging and Supply Chain services. They use the latest technologies to improve the manufacturing packaging process every day. Currently this organisation is looking for a Product Specification Manager who will lead the quality-centered Data & Artwork team, consisting of six team members (four data & artwork reviewers and two data & artwork officers). This team is responsible for the preparation and approval of all pharmaceutical product technical packaging specifications and master data, as well as for the approval of the visual parameters of the pharmaceutical packaging.
De functie / The role
As Product Specification Manager you will be responsible for the implementation of multiple new customers and products (SKUs) per year. Furthermore you will optimize and automate data & artwork processes and you will contribute to the success of strategic quality projects. You will be working with multiple systems and applications, including BarTender, Docuboxx, and InDesign. Your main working tool will be Veratrak – a blockchain-based tool through which communication with the customers is managed.
As part of your work you will be working in multi-disciplinary teams with partners from across the supply chain, communicating with international customers, and playing an integral part in the implementation of complex and innovative pharmaceutical products that make a real difference to patients’ lives. For example, you will work closely with commercial, assessing the technical easibility of customer material specifications. Also you will work closely with operations, while participating in the design of solutions to unique and extraordinary customer material specifications. You will lead strategic quality projects which means that you will work together with the other teams within Quality.
As manager of the Data & Arts work team you will be an expert on European and international pharmaceutical regulation, working directly with customers, and translating their technical material requirements into practical solutions. Therefore you will communicate with local and international customers, participate in customer audits and provide support on data & artwork matters. As such, you will have a direct impact on customer success.
Het profiel / Your profile
• Bachelors degree in a technical or scientific subject.
• Demonstrated experience with leading teams and individuals towards growth, professional success and personal improvement.
• Experience with analyzing data in optimization projects.
• Lean Six Sigma black belt or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity and experience with cGMP/cGDP.
• Experience with Docuboxx, InDesign and BarTender is an advantage.
• Good with planning, scheduling and monitoring work to meet time and quality targets.
• Full professional proficiency in both English and Dutch.
