The organisation is an international pharmaceutical company that is operating in more than 40 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. They operate on a global level and most of the teams have a global focus. They do research, development, manufacturing, warehousing but also sales and marketing. They hope to change ‘tomorrow’ and improve the lives of individuals by providing innovative medicines in areas of health where there is an urgent need for better treatments. The organisation is clearly focused on bringing high quality medicines to the market to reach their goals. Wouldn`t it be lovely to join them in their journey? At this moment they are open to meet an enthusiastic candidate for a temporary position as Project Coordinator at their office in Leiden.

De functie / The role

As Project Coordinator you will deliver support to global pharmacovigilance departments across the organisation. You will therefore be responsible for schedule meetings and circulate agendas for safety-related meetings. You will document these meeting minutes and circulate them for review. Thereby, you will assist in drafting reports and presentations in support of safety deliverables and assist with requesting case reports from the safety database. Next to this you manage SharePoint Sites, for which you will be responsible for the creating of folders and sub folders. You will also manage permissions and file/retrieve documents. From time to time you will be allinged on special projects as requested by GPV management. And you will occasionally assist Project Managers with updating project plans, minutes, documenting decisions. For the position you report to the manager of the department and work closely with your co-workers.

Het aanbod / The offer

• at least a Bachelor degree
• some project management experience and knowledge of drug safety is preferred
• business acumen to participate and sometimes lead meetings with senior PV team members
• high proficiency in Microsoft Office products: word, powerpoint, excel, outlook
• proficiency in SharePoint desirable
• self-starter, self-motivated, delivers on commitments, excellent communication skills and extreme attention to detail
• fluent in the English language, both written and oral
